Home Care and Placement

One of the toughest choices families make is deciding between home care and facility care, such as assisted living, for their elderly loved ones. Guiding Seniors LLC Consultants can assess what's needed for high-quality care and provide the information necessary to make informed decisions. We can then quickly put the plan into action.

Home Care Options Many assume that home care is the best choice. Often it is, and if you decide on this, we can assist with necessary home modifications like installing grab bars, ramps, stair lifts, and obtaining necessary equipment like a shower chair. It might also be important to hire aides for daily care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Our care managers can guide you on which home care agencies have the best staff, which are covered by long-term care insurance, and how to request a staff change if needed.

Our care managers have worked with various home care agencies and can help you select the one that best meets your needs. If hospice care is the most supportive option for your loved one, our care managers can also coordinate these services.

Care Facility Options There are many care facilities available, including assisted living. We will discuss which facilities best meet your loved one's specific needs.

We encourage you to visit potential facilities, and we can accompany you if desired. We also offer assistance with the move-in process to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.

After your loved one moves in, we continue to advocate for them, stepping in when necessary to ensure they receive the best care possible.

Please note that Guiding Seniors LLC does not have any financial ties with any assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care agencies. Our advice is based on experience, which is invaluable to our clients.
